Venice School of Music is a boutique music school located in Venice, CA, providing online and in-person private lessons as well as group singing classes and group voice lessons for adults. My specialties include adult music lessons and classes, voice lessons, piano lessons for beginners to intermediate levels, creativity coaching, songwriting workshops and group singing classes for adults. The most popular of my classes is the Singing for Fun: Group Singing Class for Adults.

All in-person lessons are taught at my music studio in a commercial building conveniently nestled between, Mar Vista, Marina Del Rey & Santa Monica.

Private lessons are also great for those who like to embark a new skill with guidance and support. Private coaching will cater to your personal needs as a musician and human! Instead of the one-size-fits-all approach one encounters on the apps, you can focus on your specific goals, while benefiting from the motivation that comes from working with your own music teacher.

Group Singing Classes for Adults

Are you looking for a way to enhance your confidence, vocal strength,improve tone and performance abilities? Maybe you want to meet other people who love music Venice that you can sing harmonies with like you used to in high school? Or are you looking for affordable voice lessons?

Group singing classes allow singers to refine their tone and gain confidence by performing in front of others—an experience not of possible to simulate in private lessons. In addition, group pricing allows students to enroll in weekly voice lessons with a vocal coach at an affordable price!

At Venice School of Music, I offer both a Singing for Fun: Group Singing Class (geared towards group singing) and Group Voice Lessons built to help singers work on their solo singing in a group setting in order to commit to consistent study in an affordable setting.

I understand the importance of flexibile scheduling for adults. I too make music and often work in various locations as a musician. I'm happy to set you up with a weekly slot, but also recognize the need to schedule lessons based on your busy life. In addition, no tuition or fees required. The price you see is what you get. I even provide complimentary open mics and recitals because it's THAT important to me that you perform. Many schools require a tuition , but I offer alla carte lessons or monthly discounted prices for online lessons.

Convenient & Safe In-Person Studio

For In-Person Lessons, the teaching studio is conveniently located in the heart of Venice, CA in a commercial building (by the Whole Foods & Rose Avenue) At the studio we have cozy lobby with views of the bustling center of Venice and a bathroom for waiting time between students. (No going to a stranger's home for lessons or having to wait in your car during your child's lessons!)

It's never too late to start! At VSOM, I offer recreational music classes for adults. I LOVE to work with those of you who want to explore your creative side & understand how challenging it might be with time constraints or even working through the past issues of getting started & traumatic choir teachers! I've been teaching professional and college students for over 10 years, so you won't feel uncomfortable starting at a later age with me. I strongly feel that music lessons should be something inclusive to all- like tennis lessons or chess lessons or pilates!

Beyond the endorphin releasing personal benefits of music, I offer Singing for Fun: Group Singing Classes and Group Voice Lessons that will introduce you to the power of public performance and master class learning setting. Singing in a group setting creates confidence in all areas of your life beyond music such as public speaking, social interactions and learning to "play" and take risks. In addition, group singing classes will create an opportunity to practice performing in front of a nurturing audience of your peers as well as to work sing harmonies (impossible in a private lesson!) Group Voice Lessons are a bit different from the Singing for Fun Classes in that they allow you work on your solo technique in a group setting, while sharing the cost with others and observing the feedback bestowed on other singers as well.
